The Allied Powers are one of three major military alliances in the world, along with the Axis Powers and the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. Formed in 1939, the Allies fought against the Axis in World War 2, but ultimately lost. In the post-war world, the Allies continue to work together to defend the last remaining havens of democracy in the world
